VFD Cables

Variable frequency drive (VFD) cables interconnect the motor with the variable speed drive. They are a fuse element that protects the drive and the motor from discharge peaks caused by the energy changes required to make speed changes.

TRC - VFD 2XS (ST) CY-J TC UL

VFD 2XS (ST) CY-J TC UL

Recommended for control equipment for the interconnection between frequency converter and motor, subject to medium mechanical stress. Mobile installation where free movement without tension stress and without guide systems is required, both in dry and humid environments for indoor use (including water and oil mixtures).

  • TC-ER according to NEC 336.10(7) Class 1 Div. 2 NEC Art. 336, 392, 501.
  • UNSER KABEL VFD 2X(ST) CY-J TC UL VFD cable for AC and DC motors in accordance with NFPA 79-2018.
TRC-VFD 4G 2XSLCH

VFD 4G 2XSLCH

Recommended for control equipment for the interconnection between frequency converter and motor, subject to medium mechanical stress.

Fixed or mobile installation where free movement is required without tension effort and without guide systems both in dry and humid environments for indoor use (including water and oil mixtures).

Interconnection between frequency converters and motors, particularly where the potential for electromagnetic interference is high.

  • Recommended for autonomous systems.
  • Advantages: Double shielding and low capacitance generate low losses compared to PVC insulation, the three-conductor symmetrical version reduces system parasitic current.
TRC-VFD 3 2XSLCH

VFD 3 2XSLCH

Recommended for control equipment for the interconnection between frequency converter and motor, subject to medium mechanical stress.

Fixed or mobile installation where free movement is required without tension effort and without guide systems both in dry and humid environments for indoor use (including water and oil mixtures).

Interconnection between frequency converters and motors, particularly where the potential for electromagnetic interference is high.

  • Recommended for autonomous systems.
  • Advantages: Double shielding and low capacitance generate low losses compared to PVC insulation, the three-conductor symmetrical version reduces system parasitic current.
TRC-VFD ROZ1-K EMC

VFD ROZ1-K EMC

The ROZ1-K (AS) VFD EMC cable has been specially designed for use in installations with variable frequency drives where it is necessary to limit the effects of Electromagnetic Interference (EMI). It is a flexible cable for fixed installations, for variable speed motors or pumps.

TRC-VFD Lean TR

VFD Lean TR

VFD Lean TR is a flexible shielded motor power cable designed for automated servo systems.

Also machine tool cable for use as specified in the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70) and the National Fire Protection Association Electrical Standard for Industrial Machinery (NFPA 79).

This cable can be used without conduit (exposed runs). Its unique flame retardant jacket makes the 600V rated VFD Lean TR suitable for tray cable applications and also as control and instrumentation cable, UL AWM recognized and CSA approved for 1000 volts.

TRC-VFD 3 2XSLCH-G7

VFD 3 2XSLCH-G7

Recommended for control equipment for the interconnection between frequency converter and motor, subject to medium mechanical stress.

Fixed or mobile installation where free movement is required without tension effort and without guide systems both in dry and humid environments for indoor use (including water and oil mixtures).

Interconnection between frequency converters and motors, particularly where the potential for electromagnetic interference is high.

  • Recommended for autonomous systems.
  • Advantages: Double shielding and low capacitance generate low losses compared to PVC insulation, the three-conductor symmetrical version reduces system parasitic current.
